Stop The Trucks is a platform dedicated to raising awareness and driving change around the transport of live animals across the European Union and beyond. Every year, millions of animals endure long, exhausting journeys—often in poor conditions that compromise their health, safety, and dignity. We believe this needs to change.

Our mission is to inform, advocate, and inspire action toward a future where animal welfare is prioritised in transport regulations—and where outdated practices are replaced by humane, sustainable alternatives.

Why This Matters

Despite regulations being in place, investigations and reports continue to reveal widespread violations during animal transport. Animals are crammed into overcrowded trucks, often without enough food, water, or rest. Some are transported for days across borders, only to be slaughtered upon arrival. In many cases, enforcement is weak, and penalties are too small to make a difference.
